Hello Blog-o-sphere!

Hello! Welcome to my little piece of the "blog-o-sphere." (That's a thing, right?) This is my first blog post and I want to tell you how this blog came to be! So, let's start with a basic introduction.

My name is Tammie (you can call me Tam 😉). I am a wife and a mom. I am currently living in North Carolina with my little family, our dog Herschel, and our cat Maggie. We move every 2-4 years because my husband is currently serving our wonderful country in the United States Marine Corps. I have been a stay at home mom for 4 years now. It wasn't completely by choice, and still isn't. However, I'm so grateful for the time that I've gotten with my children.

So, maybe you're wondering what this blog is about? Well, I'll tell you. It's about small businesses, supporting the work-at-home parents (WAHP) in our lives when we can, supporting MLM businesses, and just sharing reviews on the products offered through these companies, because you deserve to know if those products worth the money you work so hard for.

A little background:
My Daddy was a small business owner for most of my life. He owned a small construction company and taught me a lot about not answering to a boss or punching a time clock (though, I did that for many years anyway). I was first introduced to MLM/Direct Sales/Network Marketing when I was very young, when my mom and sister started selling Avon! Between 2009 and 2016, I have been with several different MLM companies, and for one reason or another, just didn't work out for me. This year, I'm really trying to find myself and figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I have no hatred or dislike towards any company that hasn't worked out for me. I have now joined a few companies that I am honestly excited about, but I'm not sure where those opportunities will lead. Except, all of these experiences have kind of led me to this blog!

Network Marketing is not for everyone, and that's okay. However, I know it can, has, and will in the future, change the lives of thousands and thousands and thousands of people! For me, I know the type of person I am. I like to share what I love, but I do NOT like to hound people or shove business opportunities in their faces. I truly believe that products and opportunities that are great can and will sell themselves. So, I'll continue to share the products I love, and if I make a commission off of it, great! If not, no sweat! I'll still use the products. I'll still be happy to support my friends and family members who choose to join or continue their side hustle/home-based businesses/small businesses.

Which brings me to the purpose behind this blog. I will review products and share with you how you can find them, the pros and cons, the good and bad, and possibly doing comparisons with other products you can buy from your local big box store or other online retailer. I will be featuring products from companies that I am not affiliated with at all, aside from buying the products from a friend, family member, or acquaintance. I will also feature products from the companies that I am affiliated with. You are never obligated to make a purchase, EVER. I will tell you the honest truth about each and every product that I try out/purchase. I will be honest with you about whether or not I will get a kickback for those reviews or not. I just want to give you honest reviews.
