Howdy, Howdy! How's it going?! So, I bought some (more) Perfectly Posh products from my friend, Kelly, and I'm so excited to share this review with you guys!! I'll actually be reviewing THREE Perfectly Posh products tonight. Please note, I have not been compensated for this review. There are links that will help me get Perk Rewards, which I'll talk about a little later in this post. So, let's get started!
Heebie Jeebie Foot Peel Kit- $9
So, let me just tell you, I don't regularly take time to go get pedicures. My last pedicure was November 2015!! 🙈 So, that means my feet were looking and feeling ROUGH! That's putting it mildly. It was like my feet were turning into cacti! Yikes! So, I saw this kit on Kelly's website and thought, "Hey, maybe this will help? If not, it's only nine bucks, so no big loss." So, first thing you should do when you decide to use this product is READ the instructions... like, all of them. I read them up to the part where it told me how long to keep the little pink booties that I put the product in and the cute polka dot socks on my feet. Keep reading, y'all. Trust me.
So, I used the kit exactly a week ago today. One important thing to note (that I didn't read before I got all excited to say I was working on this review) is that the peeling starts between 3-7 days after the initial application. Mine started on Day 5. I would post some pictures, but some people have a thing about feet, and to be honest, I couldn't get a good enough angle to show the severity of how bad my feet were prior to using the foot peel kit. So, no pictures. Sorry! But let me tell you, today is day 7 and the peeling has minimized a lot. I don't know if it's completely done, because according to the packaging, it can take up to 2 weeks to fully finish! No worries, though, because my feet feel SO MUCH smoother! I don't feel like little tiny cactus needles are sticking out from my heels. I can play footsie with my husband without worrying about cutting his legs! 😂
Overall, this is a great product that does exactly what it says it will do. Plus, it's ONLY $9!!!! Like, that's crazy inexpensive! I really think it is worth the price, and I'd probably pay more if they ever decided to raise the price. Two thumbs WAY up!
Quick note: This product is on the retired list, so if you want one, hurry up and grab it! Once they're gone, they're gone!
Complexion Perfection Exfoliating Face Wash- $19
I've just recently started to attempt to take better care of my skin. I've never had the big issues that most people do when they're teens and I've got pretty good genes when it comes to a youthful appearance. However, stress, lack of sleep, and hormones can do a number on one's appearance. I've been dealing with more breakouts on my face over the past few years. So, I got the Complexion Perfection face wash because I wanted something that wouldn't dry me out or make me oily. This face wash has a nice perperminty scent, tiny exfoliating walnut shells (crazy, right?), and aloe. I usually use it in the shower and it not only helps to get rid of the dead skin cells and debris from the day, but if you have a cold, it really opens up your nasal passages! haha! I really like this product and I would recommend it. My husband has actually used it before and he really like it, too!
Overall, if you are looking for a facial cleanser that exfoliates, and you enjoy peppermint scents, this is a great option. I'm not used to paying more than about $8 for face wash from a big box store, but if you want quality, then you have to pay a little more. It's an added bonus that I get to support a friend's business by purchasing from her. I don't mind that at all! Two thumbs up!
Envy This Face Mask- $20
This face mask has caffeine in it, y'all! CAFFEINE! If you are friends with me or have known me for more than five minutes, you know that I love all things caffeine! Also, if you happen to be Vegan, this face mask is vegan friendly! So, yay! This mask only needs to stay on for 5-10 minutes. However, I got busy with trying to do things to get the kids ready for bed and get ready for the next day that I ended up leaving it on closer to 15-20 minutes. Once I washed it off, I was a little panicked! My face was getting really warm and it kept getting redder and redder the longer I stood in front of the mirror. I was worried that I was having an allergic reaction. I messaged Kelly and asked her about it and she assured me that it meant that the face mask was doing what it was supposed to be doing. SO, if your face turns red, it is normal! I wasn't completely pleased with the smell of the face mask, but it was certainly fun to get a laugh out of my son when he saw me with it on. He's 6 and likes to pretend that when I look different, I am not his mom. So, we enjoyed some silly fun with it.
Overall, as long as you don't mind the flushing affect afterward, this is a great face mask. I don't have anything to really compare it to because it's been a lot longer than I would like to admit since I've done a face mask. However, I think if you're looking for a mask that that helps you keep that youthful appearance, this is a good one. Also, in case you missed it the first time, it has caffeine in it! Another winner from Perfectly Posh!

Affiliate vs. Consultant: What's the Difference?
Have you ever wondered what the difference between being an affiliate with a company versus being a consultant (or whatever name they give you when you purchase those big, expensive enrollment kits) is exactly? Before we get started, I want to make you aware that if you choose to click links in this post, I will get a monetary kickback for purchases made. You are NEVER under any obligation to purchase anything from the links posted within my blog. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's begin! :)
Right off the bat, I can tell you that when you become an affiliate with a company, you either have NO start-up fee, OR a very, very small start-up fee. Take, for instance, Legging Army. When I joined, I had a choice to pay $10 to join as just an affiliate and get my link with no leggings whatsoever. However, if I'm going to share these with my friends, I had better know what I'm sharing, and know if they're worth their hard-earned money! They also had a $19.99 kit that offered 1 pair of leggings plus an affiliate link, or a $29.99 kit that offered 2 pairs of leggings, plus an affiliate link. I went with the $29.99 option. I wanted to know for sure that I would recommend these leggings to my friends who like the pricier leggings. The prices and kits have changed a little now, but are still low.
When you become a consultant with a company, enrollment kit prices usually start anywhere from $49-$99 and up. I can't tell you if every company is worth that initial start up fee, but the ones I have joined that required a $99 enrollment fee to get a kit and a website, I believe they were. I've not be disappointed with any of the products. I mean, at the very least, you're getting over $200 in products for only $99!!! That's quite the savings, if you ask me. Not to mention the discounts on the products you want to order. It just depends on the product and your preferences whether or not you think they're worth what you're paying to put your name with their brand. In my experience, nine times out of ten, as long as you share the products with people, you can make your money back from the kit in no time! It just depends on how committed you are. There's only one company I'm with as a consultant (and have only been with for a month) that I haven't made my investment back yet, and that's because I haven't really pushed it, too much. That's okay, because I know I will once I'm putting the products out there!
Affiliates don't generally keep inventory or have sales minimums that they have to meet each month or quarter. No minimum number of orders, no minimum dollar amount of sales. If you share your link with someone who makes a purchase, you get a kickback. Even if it's been MONTHS since you last had anyone purchase from you. It's my understanding that your affiliate link never expires. So, that's a pretty great difference between being a consultant and an affiliate.
Affiliates and consultants are alike in many ways, but the difference is that, as an affiliate, you're just spreading the word and bringing more awareness to a company and their products, and you get a small kickback as a thank you. As a consultant, you are generally expected to use the products and actually put effort into selling them to your friends, family members, acquaintances, whoever. Affiliates don't tend to make quite as large of an income from "down lines" as consultants do, but there is a little bit of added income from those who join under you.
Both options are GREAT ways to bring in extra money. Especially if you're like me and you want to contribute financially, but the job market isn't in your favor since you've been out of work for so long and there's a ton of competition. I also think it's just smart to have multiple ways of earning extra money for savings, investments, and even paying down debt (which is why I joined as an affiliate and as a consultant for products that I enjoy and use). You can even be an affiliate for Amazon!!! (Yes, I joined.) We'll talk about that more later, though.
For now, these are the slight differences that you may not be aware of between affiliates and consultants. Know of more differences? Share them with me. 😃
Until next time, readers! 💙

Hello Blog-o-sphere!
Hello! Welcome to my little piece of the "blog-o-sphere." (That's a thing, right?) This is my first blog post and I want to tell you how this blog came to be! So, let's start with a basic introduction.
My name is Tammie (you can call me Tam 😉). I am a wife and a mom. I am currently living in North Carolina with my little family, our dog Herschel, and our cat Maggie. We move every 2-4 years because my husband is currently serving our wonderful country in the United States Marine Corps. I have been a stay at home mom for 4 years now. It wasn't completely by choice, and still isn't. However, I'm so grateful for the time that I've gotten with my children.
So, maybe you're wondering what this blog is about? Well, I'll tell you. It's about small businesses, supporting the work-at-home parents (WAHP) in our lives when we can, supporting MLM businesses, and just sharing reviews on the products offered through these companies, because you deserve to know if those products worth the money you work so hard for.
A little background:
My Daddy was a small business owner for most of my life. He owned a small construction company and taught me a lot about not answering to a boss or punching a time clock (though, I did that for many years anyway). I was first introduced to MLM/Direct Sales/Network Marketing when I was very young, when my mom and sister started selling Avon! Between 2009 and 2016, I have been with several different MLM companies, and for one reason or another, just didn't work out for me. This year, I'm really trying to find myself and figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I have no hatred or dislike towards any company that hasn't worked out for me. I have now joined a few companies that I am honestly excited about, but I'm not sure where those opportunities will lead. Except, all of these experiences have kind of led me to this blog!
Network Marketing is not for everyone, and that's okay. However, I know it can, has, and will in the future, change the lives of thousands and thousands and thousands of people! For me, I know the type of person I am. I like to share what I love, but I do NOT like to hound people or shove business opportunities in their faces. I truly believe that products and opportunities that are great can and will sell themselves. So, I'll continue to share the products I love, and if I make a commission off of it, great! If not, no sweat! I'll still use the products. I'll still be happy to support my friends and family members who choose to join or continue their side hustle/home-based businesses/small businesses.
Which brings me to the purpose behind this blog. I will review products and share with you how you can find them, the pros and cons, the good and bad, and possibly doing comparisons with other products you can buy from your local big box store or other online retailer. I will be featuring products from companies that I am not affiliated with at all, aside from buying the products from a friend, family member, or acquaintance. I will also feature products from the companies that I am affiliated with. You are never obligated to make a purchase, EVER. I will tell you the honest truth about each and every product that I try out/purchase. I will be honest with you about whether or not I will get a kickback for those reviews or not. I just want to give you honest reviews.
The last thing I want to mention before I close is: if you have a product you'd like for me to try out and review, please contact me. Either comment below or email me at affilatetams@gmail.com and let's chat!
Thanks for taking the time to read my first entry. Until next time! Take care!
